Indivisible Lou KY is excited to share the launch of Indivisible Derby City, a new action-focused arm of our IndivisibleLouKY Chapter. Indivisible Derby City was created to strengthen our ability to respond quickly, visibly, and creatively to moments that call for public action. While Indivisible Lou KY continues to focus on important work like, education, town halls, election endorsements, newsletters, legislative engagement, etc. Indivisible Derby City will center on days of action, protests, community mobilization, and youth engagement.
This structure allows us to streamline and do all the important work. It creates space for rapid-response organizing, protest support, and coalition-based actions, while keeping Indivisible Lou KY focused on long-term strategy and political accountability. Both groups share the same values, collaborate closely, and remain part of the same Indivisible chapter. This is not a new organization competing with Indivisible Lou KY, but a complementary action arm designed to meet the moment and expand our impact.
We’re excited to grow this work together and invite our members to plug into whichever parts of our movement best fit their energy and interests. This newsletter will remain the main form of communication for IndivisibleLouKy and Indivisible Derby City.
