 Baldwin•King Scholar-in-Residence at the Christina Lee Brown Envirome Institute and Professor of Pan-African Studies at the University of Louisville, Contributing columnist for the Courier-Journal, and Author

Please join us for a Community Conversation with Dr. Ricky Jones on February 23rd at the All Peoples Unitarian Universalist Congregation.

Dr. Jones is an Atlanta, Georgia native and was educated as an undergraduate at the U.S. Naval Academy and Morehouse College (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s alma mater.) He was only the second African-American to receive a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Kentucky where he specialized in Political Philosophy and Comparative Politics. He is Professor and Chair of the University of Louisville’s Department of Pan-African Studies, a frequent contributor to the Courier Journal, and an author of many books.

We hope you’ll join us for what’s sure to be a lively and informative conversation with Dr. Ricky Jones.
