The National Weather Service offices have been cut back and now there are too few people to staff them during the night?
Air traffic controllers have been cut back so that they can’t keep track of planes and are losing communications with planes?
AIChatbots at Social Security offices are answering the phones which make callers hang up in frustration before ever getting the help they need?
Trump is cutting the program that helps babies born with health defects?
Trump is stopping support of NARCAM, which saves the lives of people who are overdosing?
Trump is sending hundreds and hundreds of tons of perfectly good food to warehouses in Djibouti, South Africa, Dubai and Houston to rot, enough to feed a million hungry people for three months?
Trump has legalized machine guns? He is allowing the sale of a forced reset trigger that people will now be allowed to buy and possess in this country. What is a forced reset trigger? It turns any AR-15 style rifle into a machine gun?
The price tag for Trump’s June Military Parade could reach $45 million – that’s our taxpayer money?
RFK, Jr. has ordered a review of mifepristone?

Kentucky House Republicans Vote to Strip Health Care and SNAP Benefits from Millions of Kentuckians
Brett Guthrie, Hal Rogers, Andy Barr, and Jamie Comer voted for what they call the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” but make no mistake — this is a direct attack on Kentucky families. Their vote strips health care from nearly 1.5 million Kentuckians who rely on Medicaid, including pregnant mothers, cancer patients, and diabetics who need insulin to survive.
The cruelty doesn’t stop there. This bill delivers the largest SNAP cuts in American history, ripping food assistance away from 225,000 Kentucky children. In Guthrie’s own district, 30.7% of residents depend on Medicaid. In Rogers’ district, that number soars to 44.1%. Yet they chose billionaire tax breaks over their own constituents’ survival. This represents the largest transfer of wealth from poor to rich in American history, and they rushed it through in the early morning hours because they know exactly how devastating it is. Kentucky Democrats will make sure every voter remembers who chose billionaires over their health care when 2026 arrives. (from KY Democratic Party)
Please try to make calls. You might be tired of doing this or think it doesn’t matter, but it really does. All you have to say is “Oppose —-(whatever it is)”. Say you are a constituent, give your address, and ask for a response. You can also use the app 5Calls. A tally is kept and it does matter.

TO OPPOSE HB22, AND S.128, THE SAVE ACT which is an attempt at mass disenfranchisement, disguised as an election integrity bill, requiring every voter to show proof of citizenship bearing their current name when registering to vote. This would end online and mail-in voter registration. It means showing a certified birth certificate or valid U.S. passport and a government-issued photo ID. The last name on the birth certificate must match the person’s current name. It threatens to withhold federal funding from states that don’t comply with these new, extreme standards – a move that could create complete chaos and confusion for election administrators.
TO PROTECT THE NONPROFITS On May 14, the Ways and Means subcommittee voted to include language in the budget bill to silence the voices of those whose views may not align with the current regime. The provision would give the secretary of the Treasury the power to target any entity as a “terrorist-supporting organization” – no matter what it actually does – and potentially to strip its tax-exempt status. It widens the avenues for this regime to go after its political enemies. It also has the potential to harm organizations that protect our rights and serve our communities – from soup kitchens to youth basketball teams.
TO RETURN KILMAR BREGO GARCIA and the other people whowere deported to El Salvador without due process. Make sure they see this as a core civil liberties issue. This is a look into a future where people can be disappeared because Trump says so, where due process also disappears, where law disappears. Speak out against Trump’s defiance of the Supreme Court.

TO FIGHT CUTS TO MEDICARE, MEDICAID, THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT AND THE SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION.
Cuts to field offices and staff are cuts to Social Security. Subsidies that make the ACA coverage affordable will expire at the end of this year unless Congress steps in to renew them. Millions could lose access to health insurance. Republican-controlled legislatures are refusing to plan for the fallout even as hospitals brace for a spike in uncompensated care and working families prepare to choose between rent, food, and health insurance. (Politico, 2025) This isn’t about saving money. This is about sabotaging a popular program so they can say it failed.
