Artist’s Statement  “My Life’s Creative Journey”

 

I love color and texture and found objects. I’m often able to look at things and visualize creating something seemingly out of nothing. I’m not one to follow any patterns or mold. I take my creative direction from a Spiritual inner source. My ideas come from a more playful and child like nature within me.

 

I have always had a very creative imagination and often create as I go along. I draw inspiration from nature and the living world around me. My work is often whimsical and lifts the spirit. My work has transformed from paper mache to fabric art and dolls to collage and painting. I love to work with a variety of materials and mixed media. This seems to satisfy me more than just focusing on one creative medium.

 

My intention is to uplift and inspire others through my creativity. I hope you enjoy this brief journey through the past 25 years of my ever evolving creative expression.
