Theologian Thandeka has called racism “America’s birth defect.” The renewed rise of white Christian nationalism in our nation shows that despite all our efforts to build a society which values everyone, we still have much work to do. We’ll talk about how naming oppression and acknowledging its destructive effects can help us continue to confront the structures of systematic bias which harm us all.
