Our Universalist forbearers preached that God truly was Love and that we are called to honor that Love by reflecting love ourselves. Yet we tend to love only that which affirms us, supports us and is pleasant and beautiful. How might finding a sense of love for that which seems “unlovable” about our lives open us to greater peace, heal our brokenness, and transform our experiences?
