The Justice Center facilitates the Interfaith Environmental Action Network (IEAN). This network meets regularly to share successes, pool resources, and increase congregational sustainability efforts while collaborating to make a collective impact on our broader community.

IEAN provides a dedicated space for congregations to share experiences, best practices, and resources related to “creation care.” Together, we work toward community-wide environmental justice.

• 2024: Organized an Interfaith Environmental Summit, bringing together 35 people from over 20 congregations and local environmental organizations.
• 2025: Mobilized congregations to advocate with Metro Council for increased funding for solar panels on municipal buildings.
• 2026: Hosted a screening of “Microplastic Madness” to encourage congregations to explore ways to reduce single-use plastics.
