The Kitchen Crew
We create community by coordinating weekly Coffee Hour and monthly Pot Luck lunch after the Sunday Service. We also manage and maintain kitchen equipment and supplies and keep the kitchen/scullery clean. Monthly meetings chaired by a member we choose are when we discuss issues and clean and organize the kitchen/scullery. We’re an active group who want to serve the church.
Each member’s responsibilities:
- Choose a focus area to manage: potluck, coffee hour, tracking cleaning, inventory, food supplies, coffee/tea supplies, chair the committee, etc.
- Coordinate volunteers for 1-2 potlucks each year
- Attend monthly meetings, help recruit volunteers, keep the kitchen clean and report kitchen related maintenance issues
Member Benefits:
- Make new friends as you provide a needed service to the church
- Enjoy the shared labors of serving our congregation’s members and friends
- Discover the ins and outs of All Peoples heart & soul — the kitchen/scullery!
