HELP US BUILD THE US PEACE MEMORIAL- “It’s about time we honor the peacemakers.”

All Peoples is a Founding Member of the US Peace Memorial Foundation.

The Foundation honors Americans who stand for peace by publishing the US Peace Registry, awarding the annual US Peace Prize, and planning for the US Peace Memorial in Washington, DC.  These projects help move the United States toward a culture of peace.

All Peoples is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations and has adopted its Statement of Conscience, “Creating Peace,” which concludes: “In reverence for all life, we covenant to practice peace at all levels of human interaction.” The church’s former minister helped found Interfaith Paths to Peace in Louisville, KY, and serves on its board. On a past Veterans Day, the church saluted veterans and a conscientious objector, and it held a special collection to benefit the US Peace Memorial Foundation.

Ending the U.S. war culture begins with honoring those who have the courage to speak out against it. The US Peace Memorial Foundation is the only organization dedicated exclusively to celebrating American antiwar heroes—leaders and activists whose examples inspire others to advocate for peace. Through our US Peace Registry and the prestigious US Peace Prize, we shine a spotlight on these remarkable role models and their vital work.
