Justice Coordinating Council
Justice Coordinating Counsel
Vision: To inspire and support justice work in Louisville and beyond, so that we can make a positive difference in the world.
Purpose: The Justice Coordinating (Council) serves to organize our justice efforts in an efficient, meaningful, and effective manner. It provides a forum to share information about the focus of each justice committee, to build collaboration among our justice efforts, and to provide spiritual grounding with and for each other.
The Counsel is made up of a Board of Trustees liaison and key representative from each of All Peoples’ three, individually functioning justice committees:
- Green Sanctuary (Environmental),
- International Justice, and
- Social Justice
The Council is the governing board for the Justice Center at All Peoples, guiding and supporting its work through strategic planning and operational oversight.
Meetings are held monthly on the third Monday, at 3:00 pm via zoom; and are open to all members of the congregation.
