Louisville Artisans Guild Rental Review 2-24-20

hearth room rental venue with tables

The Louisville Artisans Guild has been very fortunate to rent space in four different rooms at TJUC  in the last three years.  Each of the rooms met the needs we had for a specific event.  Tables and chairs were readily available to fit our specific needs.  Restroom facilities were accessible to all rooms. Deborah Horvay and Ellen Wade are wonderful to work with and were so helpful in guiding us to pick the best room for each event.
The Hearth Room was the perfect size for our workshop with the tables arranged in a “U” so all participants easily participated in discussions.  The room is perfect for a smaller group and has a welcoming , more cozy feel.  The tables can easily be reconfigured if your event was a talk or lecture.
We rented Sawyer A and B for our Annual Volunteer Appreciation Social  in January. The room’s location right off the parking lot with its own entrance is so nice in winter and perfect for anyone with mobility issues as handicapped parking is close to the entrance.
We have used both Weston Hall and the Welcoming Space for our annual jury session.  These larger rooms accommodate many more tables and chairs to make for a wide variety of setups.  Weston Hall has new LED lighting which gave great light for our jurors to judge the art work of applicants.
Louisville Artisans Guild has returned to TJUC because  the facility is always clean,  the staff is personable and a pleasure to work with, parking is close to the building, it’s commitment to being environmentally conscious, it’s location is near the Watterson and it’s rooms fit our needs.
