Responding to the Violence in the Middle East:

A Gathering to Hold Each Other

Many of us have strong feelings and reactions to the atrocious attack by Hamas on Israelis and the Israeli attacks on Palestinians. We may have friends and family in the area that heighten these emotions.  We may have questions we don’t know how or where to ask and emotions (our own and others’) we don’t know how to hold with care.

We invite you to gather with Rus Funk and Cory Lockhart to intentionally create a space where we “hold each other” mindfully and with care as we express our emotions, questions, and concerns. This gathering is meant to be a create a brave space for people to share their experiences and responses to the violence.*

Trauma-informed facilitators Rus Funk, the Director of the Justice Center & Cory Lockhart, a Nonviolent Communication trainer, bring their experiences in Israel and Palestine to open space for community-building conversations.
