WHY VOTE EARLY?

  • Voting early means your voice is locked in and safe, days before anyone else can decide what happens next.
  • It shows our Democratic participation and strength (an early “do not mess with us” swell).
  • Voting early gives national organizations that are set up to defend our vote a chance to see what’s coming.
  • It also gives you room to fix anything that goes wrong: a signature mismatch, a missing form.
  • It better ensures that your vote gets counted despite delays in the mail.
  • You avoid complications from a shift that runs late that might keep you from making it to the polls on Election Day.
  • We are expecting record-breaking turnout for this midterm and voting early helps you avoid a line that’s too long on Election Day.

This is physically in person at a designated location in your county. There is no advance request for a paper ballot. You will be given a ballot printed out on site for your precinct. All you need is a photo ID.
