All Peoples is a spiritual home for so many of us — a place where we belong, where we ask big questions together, and where we try to make the world a little more loving and just. Everything we enjoy here today was built by the people who came before us. They gave their time, their hearts, and their money so that we could have this community. Now it’s our turn to pass that gift along.
One simple way to do that is by leaving a legacy gift to All Peoples in your will or estate plan. A legacy gift — sometimes called a planned gift — is simply a commitment that you make now that will benefit the church after you are gone. It can be as easy as naming All Peoples in your will, your retirement account, or as a beneficiary in an annuity or a life insurance policy. And you can always change your mind if your situation changes.
Legacy gifts go into our Endowment Fund, a special long-term investment fund that exists just for the health of our congregation. This fund is kept separate from our everyday budget and is carefully managed. It helps make sure that All Peoples can keep doing the work we love — welcoming people, growing in faith, and working for justice — for many years to come.
A lot of people think legacy giving is only for wealthy people. It isn’t. And gifts of every size matter. When you make a legacy commitment, you join a growing circle of members who want All Peoples to still be here long after all of us are gone.
