Mission Statement

The mission of the International Justice Committee is to make a positive difference in the world by doing international justice work:

  • Educating our own community on issues of social and environmental justice
  • Taking action toward a more equitable division of life resources across the world

International Justice has two focus projects.

Kenya Education & AIDS Program, also known as KEAP

The Kenya Education & AIDS Program is dedicated to care for poor and orphaned children in Kenya to give them food, a safe place to live, medical care, a good education and most importantly hope for a better future.– Learn  More –

Days for Girls Louisville KY Team

Days for Girls began in 2008 when Founder and CEO Celeste Mergens was working with a family foundation in the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya where she began assisting an orphanage. Save the Cofán People & Save the Rainforest

As one of the oldest surviving indigenous cultures in Ecuador, the Cofán people have more than a million acres of land in the Amazonian rainforest. Beginning in the 1960s oil companies, mining industries, industrial farming, and the environmental disasters resulting from these encroachments are destroying much of their land and negatively impacting their health and way of life. -Learn More-
